| I have a client that would like to install a custom slate farmhouse-style sink, as well as a garbage disposal. Is there any way the garbage disposal might harm or crack the slate sink in any way? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks. |

| If the slate is too thin, or the garbage disposal is tightened down too much, yes, it can crack a sink. |
