Do you have a Laminate wood effect worktops?

We are in the process of designing our kitchen and I would like a wood effect worktop. Our fitter has warned us that due to the grain it will not look very good when there is a join and a change of direction of the work top. Has anyone experienced this? I have looked in a number of catalogues but they are very clever and don't show the joins. Thanks

Just look the seams in real butcherblock for what seams in laminate BB will look like. The directionality of the pattern will make the seams obvious. You have to decide if you can live with that or not. IMHO, it makes it look more authentic. However, real BB from Ikea will probably be as cheap as the laminate yu are thinking of using.

The wood effect is very nice and really traditionnal i like it, but for a granite one you could also go there
