How low install backsplash behind range

Posted by M4rtin (My Page) on

I'll be doing subway tiles in my house and I'm wondering how low do I have to go behind my Bluestar Range.
Bluestar manual says the island trim should back into non combustible material, but is it only above the back of the range where hot air is ventilated or the whole back of the range ?

You might want to cros-post on the Appliances forum. There are some very knowledgeable people there (here too of course).
