Marron Cohiba Granite & Backsplash options

Hi -
Looking for advice. Absolutely fell in love with Marron Cohiba granite. My cabinets will also be dark, mahogany brown.

Need help with some backsplash choices.Not sure if I necessarily have to go light on the backsplash, my kitchen has a ton of light in it.

If anyone has any pics of your counters/backsplashes, I'd love to see them.

Polished or leathered? It makes a difference because one is shiny brown, the other is more charcoal-brown without the sheen. I used marron cohiba leathered with my honed calacatta gold, and it worked well, but I wouldn't do it with the polished.
