What do you think about this hardware?

I am closing in on the kitchen project. I'm now onto hardware for the kitchen cabinets.

I am looking for something that is more modern with a nod to traditional. I like the T-bar look that is so popular right now, but I'm afraid it will be too trendy.

I think I want a brushed nickel/stainless type look. All pulls...no knobs.

I found these from Emtek. http://www.simpsonshardware.com/Emtek_Orbit_Drawer_Pull_p/emt-86260.htm They seem really simple. Are they too simple?

I really liked these from TopKknobs but the largest they come is the 6 1/4" size. http://top-knobs.knobs4less.com/top-knobs-handle-brushed-satin-nickel-8.html The Emteck ones have a 10" size. I have a 36" drawer base, 24" panelend dishwasher etc. that I would like to have only 1 pull per drawer and I thought the 10" size would be better than the 6 1/4" size.

Cabinets are warm white wide stile & rail shaker style. Any suggestions on how to pick the right size pull for each drawer/door?

What do you think? Any other recommendations?

Yeah, I like the Ashbury collection too. I like the feet that go against the cabinet. I just can't seem to find anything similar that goes close to 9-10"....

These are mine. I love the website I bought them from because as you have learned, when you find a pull you like, it's so hard to tell if it comes in a variety of sizes. This one, shows you everything when you find a pull you like.

My reply seems to have disappeared into the ether.

I like the Emtek best. It looks designed and has elegance. It differs from a plain wire pull like a designer knit top differs from a Hanes T-shirt. It's all in the shaping.

You can use a smaller pull, functionally, on the 36" drawers, but I agree that the 10" ones might look better.

There are a number of different ways to pick the right size. The surest is to get a sample of each and try them out. Next is to mock them up with cardboard, wire or tape and try them out. Or you could use math. Do the same ratio (or as close as can be done) for all. Or make up rules, like all top drawers centered vertically, all other drawers 3.5" from top. All pulls one third the size of the drawer minus 3", and a knob on all drawers that are too small for that. Or Drawers under 22" get a 5" pull and drawers over 22" get a 10" pull. If you make a consistent rule the eye will pick it up and it'll look normal.

What about these? They are zinc whereas the Emtek ones are bronze.

I really like the emteck ones. I'm trying to choose hardware for similar cabiets, thanks for finding me another option...how will I ever decide.
