Will using the granite Method cleaner darken it over time?

Honed Jet Mist is a very porous stone. Some less porous stones may reject the enhancer after they have been sealed or just not let the enhancer darken the stone as much. Enhancers are to be considered impregnating sealers and topical sealers as well. If the enhancer penetrates the surface it is because the jet mist is still somewhat porous. That's fine and the enhaner will give you some degree of enhancement. Even if it doesn't penetrate the surface if applied properly think of your honed surface as a microscopic English muffin. The color enhancer like the water will end up filling all the nooks and crannies at a micro level. The water evaporates out but with the enhancer the solvent carrier will evaporate and the resins will be left behind.Color enhancers down side is that if they do act as a topical they will wear and need to be maintained by reapplying them over time.
Granite method wont darken it but UV light will over time.
