| We're building a home. Below is our kitchen layout with Reico. We are building with Merilat Classic Deluxe and overwhelmed with the different cabinets options. Where should we focus our attention? Thank you in advance for your advice. |

| I'm not sure what Merillat Classic is, but our house was built with Merillat (I'm sure the builder's special) and they fell off the wall. Literally. A 96" run of cabinets - the backs of the cabinets stayed on the wall. The cabinet boxes separated from the backs and came crashing down with all of the contents. Cabinets were a mangled mess on our floor, all the contents broken, damaged the hardwood floor when they fell. I can show you pictures. This was in 2010. The house was built in 1999. Merillat offered to replace that run of cabinets (not including installation - just to give us new cabs). The insurance company ended up replacing our entire kitchen. |
