You can take a screenshot and upload it - I would recommend this.
You can also include a link to your design that would allow IKEA savvy people to manipulate it -- in the words of the ever kind and helpful TBB123 from IKEAFANS:

"With your planner file open: FIle (to the right of the gold IKEA logo) --> e-mail --> e-mail to yourself --> open provided link --> copy and paste that URL into the text of your post."

In your case you could put the URL below your post in the "Optional Link URL" box.

I tried your other instructions (did a search both on Google & on IKEAfans,) and could not get that to work for me. Every link just ends up going to the homepage - and not to my own design.

select the print option, I haven't used it in a while, but it either had a "print to pdf" option or I installed a PDF program in my computer that acted like a printer that I would select. after creating the pdf, I went online and googled "convert pdf to jpg" and it converted the file for me. another way to do this is some graphic programs will allow you to export pdf to jpg.

I think the snipping tool works great for this.

If you have a PC, click the start button in the bottom left corner and "search programs and files" for "snipping tool."

All you have to do is click "snipping tool", draw a box around what you want to save and it'll save as a .JPG.

Here's an example of how it "snips" and can zoom in on the Ikea view you capture...

On a mac, press command+shift+4 and drag over what you want to capture. The image will appear on your desktop. To capture your whole screen use command+shift+3. You can crop, annotate, or change the format of screenshots in Preview.
