Hope you can help me. You are the tile expert!

I am considering Aqua Mix Tile colorant. I am seeing it online sold with a pre treat cleaner. I cleaned my grout just tonight. I routinely clean it with steam/vapor. I have used aqua mix cleaner before. I have tile floors in my kitchen 26x15, foyer, and 5 bathrooms. I have lots to clean

My questions: is it necessary to use the pre-treat cleaner or IF the grout is clean can I go straight to the colorant and still achieve the same benefits?

Is it true my grout will be as clean as my tiles after routine floor cleaning. This grout cleaning is killing me. I am a light color grout gal.

So long as all you have left is staining, and there's no grease or anything else that would inhibit the bond of the colorant, then yes, you can go straight to the colorant.

It should be, yes.

Thanks for the link Bill. Good info to know

It pays to shop around. I found the stuff locally. One place wanted $48 for an 8 oz bottle...then the other (The Tile Shop) is $24.99...can we say markup?

It's not necessarily markup. I know if I order it, I have to buy a box of 4 bottles
