It looks like they both have an appliance garage in the corner, which seems like a really good use of that space to me.

Warmfridge, hard to tell on the second one; I couldn't get it any bigger on here, but if it doesn't, it easily could. We would definitely have a space there for appliances if we do this, whether open or in a garage (probably open -- it would house can opener and toaster oven, things we use often, and I can't see having a door which might get blocked with counter stuff).

A lady over at the ikeafans forum is going to install a similar set-up. In her renderings you can read some measurements. Hope this is useful.

Thank you petra66. I considered how it would be to put the oven stack toward the corner like that... I guess with a blind cabinet contraption it would work for the lower corner. I appreciate your help!
