I'd write to Kohler and see if they can send you a new one.

Huh. The first thing I do - when I can do so safely - is remove all branding labels I can from anything I own - appliances, clothing... If I could remove the H from my Honda without leaving a hole, I would!

Thanks for the replies. I think I realized or at least have accepted that I was more upset with the installer for not only this, but a few other gaffes...so looking at the dirty label was just a continuous reminder. I removed it.

BTW, Kohler does not replace them and calls them "permanent"

My husband removed the Blanco label from our sink when he installed it, thinking he was doing a "good" thing. Ugh! In the grand scheme of things, it's no big deal, but still--ugh!

My husband has an issue with car dealership plate frames being left on. Lol...
He says they don't pay you to advertise everyday, if they did it could stay.
Yet, he's more than happy to wear his Invicta watches.

More and more companies are making sure their "branding" isn't coming off.
My "new" coffee maker has the Faberware name pressed into the stainless steel face, yet some of the buttons have lost their "labeling". It's about 3 mo old.

I'd be a bit put off if someone removed the logo from my sink! Why did he even do that!!!?? It appears to me, to be something that is meant to stay put. My Kraus sink is engraved or monogrammed or whatever and no way you can get it off.

HammerMom , We have just had our new kitchen installed and they missed the center mark of our windows by half an inch, so my faucet is lined up with the window center... the label/emblem draws attention to this. It wouldn't be noticeable if it was gone. I want to remove it, but DH is hesitant. I called Kohler and they said it is not meant to be removed but can be and the sink is completely finished underneath. She warned of a potential color difference, but it is a brand new white cast iron sink, so I don't think that would be problem. Did you notice any color difference when you removed yours? Slide a single edged razor blade under that thing and forget it. There will be no color difference.
