Almost finalized kitchen design. Open to suggestions!

The only part I'm not thrilled about, is the back door. At this point there's nothing we can do about that, the plans are done. I wanted a larger Island, but it just isn't going to work. Even if we turned it, we can make it longer but you will be walking into it as you walked through the mud room door. The bottom of the kitchen is wide open to the common dining area.

Hi. Not a layout guru but I think you'll want to move the DW to the right of the sink and get it out of the prep space between the stove and sink.

Is the island for seating only or prep work. If prep, did you guys consider a prep sink on the island?

Thank you Deedles! The island will be for sitting, and just more counterspace. I put the dishwasher on the left because I am left-handed, it's just a thing! Whenever it's on the right, I just spaz out LOL

Much discussion here about the handedness of a dw. The consensus is to put it in the right place for the layout. Seriously consider moving it.
