Unhappy with Koehler faucet -- is it faulty?

Is this a faulty item? I got a pull-down Koehler faucet. When you lift the handle and turn on the water, the pull-down part immediately drops down about half an inch in response to the water flow instead of staying seated properly. Do they all do that?

And to me, a basic design flaw on this faucet is a *non-optional* 360-degree swivel on the stem. Granted, I know many people do want that as a feature, but how hard would it have been to put an adjustable clip into it so that you *could* restrict the range to keep the water from pouring out over the counter if you have no reason for it to ever swivel past the sink edge? I really doubt it would be an expensive or difficult to design/include feature. JMHO, of course, and maybe it really *would* be expensive or difficult to include an option to adjust the swiveling range.

I don't get it though. Maybe if this were a $25 off-brand faucet, I could see the cutting corners aspect and the loosely-seated nozzle. But on a name-brand $200 faucet?
