Stain test for Mother of Pearl quartzite

just an fyi and add-on for those looking for granites/quartzites that are 'white'.

I stain tested my sample of Mother of Pearl Quartzite with various acidic like items in the kitchen (tomato, wine, lemon, etc.). I can't see any evidence of staining or etching :)

I have yet to test my first runner-up, Sky Pearl Quartzite, but was informed by the granite place that it will stain (not as easily as marble). Also just found out that the slabs aren't quite big enough for my island to do without a seam, and the lot with more slabs (I'll need 3) has different coloring. Boo hiss...more updates to come
