Breadboard backsplash in butlers pantry/coffee area.

I used a handmade crackle tile in my kitchen for the majority of my backsplash, but I decided to use a knotty alder breadboard for my small butler's pantry/ coffee station. It is really pretty with my cherry cabinetry, but would be a lot to maintain in the work areas of my kitchen.

Very pretty and elegant. I like how you used the same light in both places. It is so interesting that your kitchen BS is a light crackle, and fits so perfectly in your traditional kitchen, and still looks good in my transitional one.

Your accessories fit so well.

Beautiful, it looks original to the house! Perfect choice. Such a pretty little rug, too.

Thank you for the nice compliments. I started following the posts on this website at the time I ordered my cabinets. My remodel was made so much easier from what I learned here and since I have not been so great about posting finished pics and I so love looking at everyone else's pics, I figured it was only fair I shared too.

that's really beautiful. Reminds me of some of those beautiful big back bars on old taverns.

There are so many great ideas on this forum. The breadboard really makes those cabinets look like a piece of furniture. Just lovely!

Michelle--I love this and I love the cabinets. Did a search and looked on FKB. Do you have a link to more pics of your kitchen, please?

Very nice and classic look.
