Being the owner of a vintage stove, I'd highly suggest doing a web search for some vintage appliance repair people and seeing what they say. Sometimes that stuff can be rebuilt, sometimes not. Good luck!

If you want to 'turn off' the clock while allowing all the other electrical components to work then you will probably need to reconfigure the wiring to bypass the clock. Anyone with a little patience, basic electrical wiring knowledge and a voltmeter should be able to help.

If you're looking to get the clock working properly again, that's a different matter. I spoke to an O'Keefe & Merritt stove restoration expert and he says his repaired clocks run fine for a couple of years, then fail again. I suspect since the clocks are mechanical and made from metal, fresh lubrication can definitely help but decades of performance took their toll, worn down gears and such.
