bifold shaker-style door on lazy susan...is this right?

I'm sorry I can't post a picture....I'm not at home to take one. But my GC and I are spatting over this and I need another opinion. Think I can explain it clearly. I have shaker or arts & craft style cabinet doors, with a recessed flat panel, rails across the top and bottom and stiles down the sides (and in the middle on wider doors). The corner lazy susan door is one of those that is hinged in the middle. The particular type of hinges used have the edge of one door overlapping the front of the other door. What this means is that looking at the closed door, the stile on the inside edge of one door LOOKS narrower than all the others (because it's covered by the edge of the other door.

Seems wrong to me. I'm thinking it would look better if that particular stile were wider so that it looks the same as the others when the door is closed. Yes? No?
