Hi there! I love the WHITE look! Which white granite are you using? My clients love it because they really get to choose their favorite color for the walls since the white is such a neutral and bright color!

So here's what you do. Pick your favorite color. Get sample jars...I prefer Benjamin Moore over all other paint companies...and paint it on the walls and live with the colors for a couple of days. You'll DEFINITELY know after that. No more agonizing!

Oh, also, there are different styles to choose from once you pick your color. They are explained to you in the link below. If you have any questions, just ask me...have fun!

Thanks for the link Justin. We chose White Supreme, which has a lot of white veining. I hope I don't mess this up :)!!

Wow! That's a very broad canvas question.

~ What is style of your cabinets?
    ~ Your flooring?
~ What type of look are you going for? Bold and vibrant, calm and serene....
~ Do you have 'favorite' colors?
~ Can the kitchen be seen from other rooms?
~ Do you have any inspiration pics?
    ~ On and on....

Sherwin Williams sells paint by the pint for about $5.00 each that you can test to your hearts content.

Which ever color direction you go....I rec painting a REALLY large test area and live with it a day or two so you can see it different times of the day with light source variations.

I made a post the other day that allows a person to play with color to help generate at least a starting point. It may help you out or least kill a few minutes playing around.

I have a white kitchen and I love to change the wall color
every year or son. I have had Camel Coat, Cobalt, Wedgewood
blue, Potato chip beige, Creamy yellow, Moonlight yellow,...
currently it is a soft almost white misty green.

    What is your favorite color?
What colors do you have in the rest of your home?

What kind of granite? I ask because white river has
beautiful flecs of silver, brown... While Kashimir white
has some flecs of red and silver...River white flecs of
    blue-ish brown, ..

Looking forward to seeing what you have and what your
    favorite color is.

I'm thinking a gray to go with the gray veining in the granite, but I'm worried it will look too dark when the entire room is painted. There is plenty of light though...

    Hi!

We didn't go totally white/white as we have soapstone on the perimeter counters, but we have a large island with white calacatta marble. We chose Benjamin Moore Wickham Gray for the kitchen and the adjoining family room. I love, love the color. Fresh & crisp & airy with the white.
A few other blue/grey tones we throughout the house that look great with white trim: BM Cashmere Grey, BM Quiet Moments. Good luck!

There are some amazing colors and advice already and I would agree about going light with paint color so the space looks airy and unified - I think a deep or dramatic paint could chop up the space. (Katiob - what a lovely space!!!)
