3 years ago We installed Blue S cooktop 36" w/ 6 burners and on opposite side of kitchen a French door 30" gas. I am not a baker. I generally use oven only a little
HOWEVER since acquiring this blue star I use the oven a lot more. Having it high on the wall and the ability to get close to the racks... Eg not reach in and over a door is a great incentive! Really.
Was concerned about 30" as we have generally had larger. The cavity is quite spacious. I can place several cookie sheets in at one go. Capacity is actually greater than my old 30" thermador electric below counter oven This is because a lot of the venting and insulation space is on top and below, not in side. We are satisfied customers!!!
Now looking at BS French door 30" ELECTRIC for another home as we split our time between two cities due to work and family.

The deal is one client customer had installed a blue star oven in a manner that pinched the electrical line feeding the ignition. This resulted in a fire. Blue star contacted all of us owners and came on site to retrofit those same electric wires to protect them from pinching and also to check on installs, they did not find, at the time of my inspection and retrofit, any further problems with electrical wires be dangerous ... They were very forthright about the matter when I called the manufacturer. And we felt they were doing the Corporate Right Thing to take the precaution of preventing faulty install issues since ultimately someone could claim its a design issue.
