Size of pendants in relation to island

I have a small island (36" x 52") and I want to put two lights over it. They also have to throw off decent light as they are the central/ primary fixtures in the room. I can't do small, accent 30 watt types because I do need the light. I've picked out one that has (2) 75 watt bulbs each. Diameter of each is 13". Thoughts on the proportion and size of fixtures to island? (Outside edges of blue tape represent island.)

would you consider a single larger pendant?

No. There weren't really any that I liked or fit the room. A pendant bigger than 12-13" tends to look large from top to bottom in addition and become too heavy in that regard. Though round at bottom, these aren't top heavy at all.

My peninsula has identical dimensions and I used two 6" diameter pendants and they throw off plenty of really good light. They have LED bulbs and are on a rheostat. If there were any bigger I think I would be bumping my head into them.
