Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum so hopefully I am posting everything ok. I just figured out how to post additional pics so have done so below.

We are renovating our kitchen and I would like some advice on paint colours for the walls. We've stripped the old wallpaper off and will be painting.

We need it to be bright as the cupboards are dark. The counter top is being replaced (suggestions for this accepted too please!) but cupboards will remain as is (just cleaned up with tung oil) as they are solid oak and in good shape. Will plan to put a bar type seating area with new countertop on the far wall to replace the table and chairs.

For wall paint, I really like deep yellows and orange/reds (terra cotta type) but can't seem to find a colour sample that fits.

Perhaps a back splash ? This is also an option we would consider so feel free to give suggestions too.

Suggestions of colours and paint brands please? Can you please post pictures of your suggestions to help me.
