Hi I have a similar situation as you. My windows and patio doors face north, north east. I have high ceilings and windows that go almost all the way to the ceiling and I love the light that comes in. Love that it isn't too hot in the afternoon and that it isn't shining right in my eyes.

My cabinets are creamy white. The cabinetry company put the finish on in the factory, however, I took a sample to the paint store and matched my color almost dead on to BM Lancaster Whitewash - it is one of their historic colors.

For the trim, I went with Lancaster Whitewash and for the walls I went with 25% of Lancaster WW.

I really like the way that it looks and that it is fairly sparse thereby allowing the flooring to contrast nicely and allowing paintings on the wall to come to life in a way that don't on boldly colored walls.
