Hi- This is an idea I considered too. I love the look. I'm going to look through my files for you to see if I have any inspiration pics. A concern I had though was maintenance -since typically you use different products on wood vs. tile, do you think it will be difficult to maintain the floor -especially in a kitchen where a floor can often take a beating? Of course, I tend to overanalyze everything, so I may be doing that in this case as well....
