I have been reading the kitchen posts for a while now and it has been so helpful with the design of our new kitchen. I wanted to get some feedback and ideas on the plan. There are so many wonderful people with such great ideas and I am looking forward to getting some fantastic ideas.

The range has to be where I can stand facing east or north (as per vastu which is similar to Feng Shui). In the drawing, it is where I will be facing North.

We are planning on buying a new 36" pro-style range with a stainless steel hood. We are also planning to getting a freezer-less ref and freezer and putting them side by side. A warming draw and a second oven will be great, but I don't think I have the room for it in this kitchen. The island is something we are looking forward to having in the new layout.
