I love the yellow that I found for my walls the year before deciding on a full remodel, so I hadnt planned on changing it. Right now my kitchen is all in my head and includes grey slate floors, very light bluish grey cabinets, Carrara coutertops around most the the room, with a large walnut butcherblock in another area. I only realized the other day that pairing this golden yellow with the walnut may come off very 70's. Obviously the paint is the cheap factor to change so that will be what goes if it has to, but I'd be better off to make that change before cabinet and countertop installation if I need to! Does anybody have any thoughts or warnings on this? Wish I had a picture of them together, but my countertop is only an order right now! It is black walnut from hardwood lumber co if that helps!
