Finally!

Hi everybody! Remember me? No? Nobody, huh? OK.

Well, anyway, my kitchen is finished, something like 16 months after we began. We got it 98% done pretty quickly and it took forEVER to do those last 2%.

Here's the scoop:

Cabinets: M.R.S. Kitchens, Oak, coffee stain, shaker style door, inset

Floor: Marmoleum

Range: GE Profile gas-on-glass convection range

Refrigerator: GE Profile freezer-on-the-bottom French door

Microwave: GE Profile

Dishwasher: Kitchenaid

Subway tiles: Subway Ceramics in bone

Pulls and knobs: Lee Valley Hardware

Sink: Sienna sinks

Decorative tile: Terra Firma Tiles

Your kitchen is beautiful!
We just bought the same microwave and it is bigger than I thought it would be. What are the measurements of your microwave cabinent..height, width, and depth. It is just what we need.

The inside dimensions of the microwave cabinet are 17 inches high, 27 inches wide and 17.5 inches deep. There is an outlet in the back wall of the cabinet above the microwave shelf, and a hole in the back top of the shelf box so that the plug for the microwave goes up and into that cabinet to access that outlet. It's very handy; I have small speakers in that cabinet and a cable that will attach to my laptop comes back down through the hole and exits the microwave box on one side so I can hook up my computer or iPod for music.

We love everything about this kitchen!

You did a great job and your soapstone is gorgeous! But I just happened upon your kitchen here in the gallery, please post it on the main kitchen forum so everyone can enjoy it!
