| Hi everyone - I've been a gardenweb stalker since we began building our house, but this is my first time writing in with a question! I'm having second thoughts about what we did for our raised breakfast bar backsplash, and wanted your opinions. We did a picture frame detail above the stove with q-seal white marble 1x1s, with the rest of the backsplash on that wall being the coordinating subway tile. We also have an island where the sink/dishwasher are, with a raised breakfast bar, and decided to tile that backsplash with the 1x1 accent tile from above the stove to tie it all in together. Did we make a rookie mistake? I'm hoping it doesn't look like a mish-mash...what are your thoughts? Thanks! |
