| We are about to start building a new house and we've never built before. I need help w/ the kitchen design. We want a double parallel island w/ a raised bar looking over the living area. There is a large eating area on the side. There are no windows on the kitchen walls. I think I want the cooktop and the sink to be looking out over the living area - not facing the back wall. However, I don't know how to make the "triangle" work w/ that set up. I don't want to be walking around the island to get to the sink. I'd love a prep sink. Not sure if that could go on the island w/ the cooktop or on the back wall. I've even thought about putting the cooktop on the island w/ the raised bar. I've attached the web page w/ the floor plan. The original plan only has one island. Any advice would be great! Thanks. |
