No idea what to do with kitchen in new house

Below is the pic I took during our walk thru. I just think there is too much going on - green walls, peachish cabinets, white doors, tan floor, gray countertops. I don't want to redo the entire kitchen and because the house as a whole was a big investment I don't want to spend alot of money. I would be willing to live with it if I had a clue how to make it work or even what to change. I am getting ready to have a baby in three months and would like this project out of the way. I could really use some ideas, thoughts, assistance please!

Whoops! I linked in the MLS pic by accident and don't know how to replace it with mine. Help please! Sorry...I am new.

Bust out that soffit above the cabinet and paint the cabinets white! Install new cabinet hardware. It's a great kitchen and would be easy to update/beautify!
