| Hi lovely people on this forum. I moved into a "new" house in December. It's a great house with cool features like a fireplace in the breakfast area, but the walls of the kitchen and breakfast area are a faux finished splotchy tan that I can't stand any longer. I am a teacher and a mom, so I have not had time even to finish unpacking, but this week is SPRING BREAK! Yippee! I am bound and determined to paint the kitchen walls. The cabinets are 1980s oak, which I don't hate. I have tried twelve paint samples, but I can't fall in love. My top paint contenders are Sherwin Williams Roasted Almond and Sea Salt. Roasted Almond is a safe choice, a tan with the same warm hues as the cabinets. Sea Salt is a yummy pale aqua. Please weigh in. I've made myself thoroughly confused now. |

| I tend to like color - I would go for Sea Salt. You can always repaint a safe color if you need to sell. |
