Can you help me identify this granite?

My friends have granite in their kitchen that I love, but they can't remember what type it is. Can anyone recognize it in this picture?
Also I am building a cabinet for coffee equipment to sit on. The cabinet is out of cherry and there is a mahogony table in the room. Both have natural finish on them (no dye). Any advice on a granite that would look great with both and especially the cherry, but not show every coffee grind that falls on it or every splash of water?
