| Hi - New to board and love it! Thank you for all your good expert opinions!
I have two designs I'm contemplating... one where a single range is on an external wall, across from the island... another where my cooktop is in the peninsula which faces our family room, still leaving the island free... and a wall oven... I hope I can post the plans... I don't like the idea of having my back to family/guests while preping/cooking Thank you for your advice! |

| I was having the same issue on placement of my range. I have decided on putting a slide in induction in the penninsula facing my family room. I love to entertain and hate to feel like while I am cooking the party is going on without me. Also, I like to be facing my 4 kids because so much happens when my back is turned. I am jealous of your open island. I have very little open counterspace! |
