Need kitchen layout help!

Hi - New to board and love it! Thank you for all your good expert opinions!
I have two designs I'm contemplating... one where a single range is on an external wall, across from the island... another where my cooktop is in the peninsula which faces our family room, still leaving the island free... and a wall oven... I hope I can post the plans... I don't like the idea of having my back to family/guests while preping/cooking Thank you for your advice!
