HI there - my kitchen needs a little facelift to modernize it before I sell it next year. my original thought was replacing the countertops which are light laminate and look cheesey. The original owners did a nice upgrade with the ceramic floors but as the appraiser said to me today, the counters need an update. after reading here I saw a lot of stained and painted oak cabinets too. trying to figure out if i should just do the counters (not sure what material though)or should i do something with those cabinets too? I was thinking that the granite might make the cabinets look worse? thanks for any thoughts. trying to include a picture of kitchen as it is.
