| I did not locate a posting for finished basement kitchens. At the suggestion of a poster on another forum I am creating one which may encourage others to add theirs.
Our basement was completed several years ago and we incorporated a fairly complete kitchen into the bar area. Though it is not daily use, it functions very nicely for casual entertaining, when in need of additional cooking (oven) space for holiday meals or a cooler spot on a hot summer evening.
We used mostly frameless cabinets, with a mix of on-the-job built-ins. Ikea was our choice and we have never had an issue with any quality matter. Their features are wonderful. Everything was DIY.
