kids' Christmas concert

Wow -

Just one of those golden precious moments - Last night the classical Christian school, where I teach the lower elementary music classes, put on their annual Lessons and Carols. It just "came together" for the 1st graders - who sang their little hearts out so earnestly the whole hour - chiming in on the upper school's pieces as well :-) Smiles abounded - and as one grandparent said afterwards - "Those 1st graders sing with such "gusto".

We procured a string bass for the jazzy Brubeck piece "God's Love Made Visible" (along with violin, clarinet, flute, trumpet and piano for the evening)- such joy!

Just want to bottle it for the future!

May you each find that special piece of joy and/or inner peace this season as you celebrate your faith!

Wow, jubileej, that sounds fabulous!! I am a sucker for a Christmas program. I so enjoy the children's performances. Your program sounds beautiful. I am not a religious person but I like the programs anyway :) Thanks for sharing.
