That story broke my heart. It is just so heartbreaking to see a child struggle so much and then to lose his battle in the end. My condolances go out to his family.

Pecanpie, I am not entirely sure. Would he have died without the surgery - yes. Did the surgery cause his death, I don't know, but it is very sad and our hearts and prayers go out to Steve and Tesa.
