In Memoriam

Last night we were up on the roof, just as the sun was going down. It was the same time the Ground Zero lights came on and I thought you all might like to see how it looked from our house. We are miles away but look in the very center of the photo.

Thank you for sharing that pic. From the looks of it, it looks like it was shot from Queens.

Acutally, the view is in Manhattan looking south. The tiny little short blue light just left of center is the Empire State building. From Queens you would have a very different skyline.

wow, such a striking picture, thanks for sharing.

My daughter turned 22 on sept 11 2001, we've held a group dinner ever since on that night of her birthday, as I'm sure many families get together in remembrance of their loved ones, I always have a thought for them on that day which no one will ever forget.

Rococogurl, Thank you for that photograph. It feels like a requiem. I still can't get over the massively altered skyline. I'm glad I stopped and visited the forum to see this. ((((((RG)))))))
