Broken granite countertop

My granite kitchen countertop developed a crack in front of my sink. It now a clean break, in other words its is now a separate piece from the countertop. My husband will be fixing it, but we would like to know what kind of epoxy should be used?

Its a clear polyester resin he would use. Not a fun fix. :(

I know that if you don't want to take it on yourselves that your local granite fabricators offer fixing services. Just a thought.
