Impregnating Granite sealer past shelf life date. Should I use?

Posted by lairdwd (My Page) on

I have a half bottle of 511 Seal and Enhance that was bought in 2006. It's shelf life stated on the bottle is 12 months. Is the shelf life something to take seriously, or is this stuff still good?

It was stored in a cool dry place during that time.

Thanks,
Bill

Let me put it this way-- I've used sealer before that was WELL beyond its shelf life and had no adverse effects. That was before I knew better. Not sure that I'd do it now, just for safety's sake.
