Granite - Can I go with BOTH leathered and glossy

Hi! I have a granite color that I love. It's dark and looks nice with my off white cabinets. I can't decide on finishes and was wondering what you all think of having the leathered finish in the perimeter and the glossy for the island. Has anyone had/seen that done?

Thank you!

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but still not sure since I have committed to Blue Pearl Granite. I was going the use leathered Cambrian Black with polished Brown Shada. Brown Shada lost its sparkle when we tried a sample in our kitchen, so we dropped the idea.

I think should do what your heart tells you, then you won't be disappointed.

Ask this question on Rocks #4 Marble, Granite, Quartzite forum. Maybe it will wake everyone up on that discussion again!
