backsplash advice for kashmir white granite

this is my first post, sort of confusing! we just renovated our kitchen. we have natural cherry cabinets on the perimeter, with a distressed black island, both with kashmir white granite countertops, and white oak floors, stainless steel appliances, and pewter hardware. i noticed some of you have kashmir white in your kitchens, and i wonder if you can help me out of this backsplash indecision. i'm between a plain white subway tile, and a dark olivey green tile called azul empire. i'm worried it will make the kitchen look too dark, though there are windows, and undercabinet lighting. the trim is navajo white, and no paint in the kitchen (all cabinets) the ajoining dining area is ben moore, camoflauge (sp?) any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
