White spots on drip tray of fridge's water in the door

I'm sure someone here is a whiz at cleaning and can tell me how to remove the mineral deposit that forms when a drip of water or bit of melted ice dries on the shiny black plastic. My cleaning crew does not seem to know how to remove it, or hasn't tried ;).

I have tried using a miracle cloth dampened with vinegar, with no success. Any bright ideas?

TIA
Mary

Have you tried Bar Keepers Friend? It works on lime deposits on my shower glass.
