Trim For The Bottom Of Upper Cabinets- Need Advice

Hi All,

This is a pic of my cabinet above the sink:

Photobucket

If you tilt your head down, you can see a typical recessed opening of the frame to the bottom of the cabinet. All the other cabinets have lights in this area except for this one.

Should I finish this underside with a rectangular insert for the bottom and a piece of trim for the edge of the frame?

My wife thinks it looks unfinished. It's doesn't bother me at all. Thanks!!!!!!

Did you mean to post on the conversation side?

So, you're not planning to put lights there? If no, then I'd leave it be? Looks okay to me.....
