| Hi all, not much going on with my kitchen or bathroom for the last few months. However, they did start installing the new floor this week! I'm out of town and can't wait to get home so I can see it. I have a request. My family and I entered the Rolling Stone Magazine contest "the family who rocks together rolls together" and we were chosen as one of the 12 finalists. Half of the decision as to who wins is based on online voting. I'd love it if you would vote for the Wassenhove family at: You can vote once a day through 1/17/13. the prizes are great (car, photoshoot with rolling stone magazine and a trip for 8 family members to go the Grammy awards in February) I'd love to win for my mom. She has had an awful year. Colon Cancer diagnosis and surgery, chemo, then a reaction to her chemo where she stopped breathing, the loss of her son/my brother who died unexpectedly at 49 and now she is recovering from hernia surgery repair... that's a lot for anyone but it's definitely a lot for an 85 year young woman who still owns and runs her own business ( a blues bar) and who just retired from Notre Dame last summer! Please help me and my family win! feel free to share this with your family and friends. We can use all the help we can get! Thanks so much. Susan |
