Recently purchased model home less than 2 yrs old in Central Florida. We're being frozen out of the house during the days (recent ext highs of 75 to 82 deg) while its been warmer than we wish inside during the nights. The thermostat consistently displays an inside temperature that is 5 to 8 degrees warmer than it actually is during the day (compared to our comfort level and a freestanding thermometer we believe is fairly accurate); the differential between displayed and actual room temperature levels out in the evening. We have humidity set to 60%, and the cool to reach humidity level setting is off. We've had 4 tech visits and are on our second thermostat. The techs have never used this thermostat before but the most recent one strikes me as competent. We've even used the Offset feature to try to calibrate the thermostat, but we're still not able to get consistent room readings and cooling performance. Any thoughts?
