Blower and Inducer Motors Replacement

I just had my almost 13 year old furnace serviced (annual service call). The technician told me that it needs both a new blower motor and inducer motor. While he was out in his truck getting the cost and parts quote, I Googled just so I could get a ballpark figure of what to expect. I had thought he would come back in and tell me parts and labor would be about $600. He instead quoted me $1400 if I do them both at the same time, or $1600 if they are replaced seperately. He said both felt warm to him. My unit is the typical builder's grade Comfortmaker furnace. My house is in the DC area, about 2800 finished sq feet of living space and an unfinished basement. The company is well rated by local consumer's guides. I would be grateful for any information regarding if this seems about as expected or if I could do better. Taking a $1400 hit this time of year is difficult.
