I purchased a Lennox G71PMM 4 years ago December from Costco,and had it installed by the Lennox distributer selling it through Costco.

They literally butchered the installation, which was remedied by Costco at their Cost. That installer went bankrupt in 2010,so have no recourse through them.

December 2 furnace quit working, I have been told that I need a heat exchanger, blower assembly and collector box.Labor estimate $500,parts $2011.

Lennox wouldn't cover the warranty because I missed last years inspection, at which time we were in AZ for four months. And it is my fault because I had not inspected the furnace. No consideration that even if I had had it inspected a year ago, the problem would have still occurred.

If I had known that Lennox had 94 complaints closed by BBB in the last 3 years, I would have wondered how many were not closed and reconsidered a different brand.
