Your posting is a little confusing. Is the total price for the furnace and AC $10,223? If it is, then it is high in my opinion. It is hard to tell what know which AC condenser was quoted.

You quote needs to have the model numbers and sizes of all equipment (furnace, AC condenser, and coil). What type of filter are you getting? Does this include a 10 year Carrier labor warranty? Are there any duct modifications or improvements being done?

The Infinity is Carrier's best equipment. The Performance series is also a good choice.

Ask the contractor to give you the details of this quote and other options. You should get at least three quotes when trying to decide on a contractor.

The AC unit is an infinity 17 AC Model 24ANB7 3 ton. This does not include a 10 yr labor warranty that's an additional $525. No additional duct work modifications or improvements are being done. That price does include the wifi enabled infinity touch control.

You need the Infinity control for the HVAC...no substitute allowed...

What is the size of the furnace? How does it compare to the size of your current furnace?

I would think the WiFi option adds about $200 over the standard Infinity controller.
