It gets down into the 20's a lot in Miss where the house sits vacant for 2-3 months at a time. The heater in the house runs off the waterheater. I am getting mixed advice over whether or not to turn the water off out at the street when we leave. Common sense tells me it is crazy to leave water on and take a chance of getting a leak when nobody is there. Comments?
