Having been in the business, I would suggest that you stick with Mitsubishi. Over the years I have seen many of these "private label" arrangements go bad. York says they will stand behind "their" brand but I have to ask, for how long? Mitsubishi is a top brand. I'd suggest you get quotes from Fujitsu and Daikin dealers.

as I recall each mfg gives classes
to installers. something that really
matters is to know how to install
& troubleshoot these units in the field.

that said, I installed a fredrich minisplit
in an efficiency apt & renter is very
pleased. so is the owner as they pay
the utility bill. I think it was 16 SEER
heat pump. very quiet.
